I am just thrilled that John P. Kee would write this song, this was food for my soul and water for my spirit, I was surely inspiried. This gave me the strength
to keep pressing on and explaining to people of all race that this is not about the color of the Obama’s skin, it’s about his belief in and love for all people not just us…meaning blacks, but all people doing better! I just love it. For the love of God who I trust and believe, Obama will be the next President of the United States, I just pray that the Lord keep him and him family safe. My God Bless! YES WE CAN!

Derrick, you are truly an inspiration to everyone who has the courage to hear what you’re saying. I believe in America and its potential. I hear a quiet, yet powerful rumble that has yet to form the mountaintop that Dr. King spoke of in his final speech. I believe history will remember us for what we do and don’t do when November comes. I feel as if we are in a new beginning, so to speak. Just remember that we are all here for a purpose and if we believe America is the greatest country in the world, we will not stand for it being less. In my sixty one years or at least 40 of them I have never been so impressed with with the depth in which you as a young man have done your homework. My mother-in-law has great interest in the reopening of this discrimination lawsuit filed by Congress. She wants to know when she can file her claim and where does she need to go to get the claim form. She wants to file on behalf of her deceased mother. She missed out the first go-round through no fault of her own. She was told that it was too late to file a claim.
