Preach it, Keith!!!!!!!!!

And all the uncommitted superdelegates need to come out and reply, “Amen.”

MSNBC also says her campaign is over and her chances of being VP have gone out the window.

Keith, thanks for your courage and for your excellent judge of a bad character – even while so many other pundunts tiptoe around it, I think because they fathom that she would really want to plant the seed of thought that such a tragedy could befall Obama.

  4. W A Burkhart Says:

    That’s CAN’T fathom

    From Blacks4Barack…ACTION TIME !!!!!!!!!
Demand To DNC: Kick Hillary Out NOW !
Insinuates That Obama Could Be ASSASSINATED !

Now, things have gone way too far. Today, in an appearance in South Dakota, Hillary Clinton justified her reason for staying in the campaign by referring to the fact that presidential hopeful ‘Robert Kennedy was assasinated in June’…implying that the same could occur to Senator Obama. THIS IS SICK !!! Regardless of how the pundits try to spin this as just another misspeak, the statement speaks for itself and displays the diobolical mentality of Hillary Clinton.

It is unclear as to whether she is actually hoping that Obama would be killed, therefore giving her an open path to the Democratic nomination, or if she may be signaling her desire to some sick, warp minded homicidal maniac. Whichever be the case, her statement is automatic grounds for the Democratic National Committee headed by Howard Dean to demand that she remove herself from the race. If he does not, American Democrats should demand HIS stepping down !

This can not be tolerated!!! Regardless of who you are a supporter of, Hillary, Obama or McCain, ANYONE who would wish the death of another human being in order to win a political position is sick, dangerous, maniacal, deranged and totally mentally and morally unfit for any political position, particularly President or V.P. of the United States.

It really riled me when Keith ranted up close to the camera (as if to get in Hillary’s face–or ours?) about Hillary’s comment. He’s bright enough, IF really unbiased, to know she meant that candidates were stilll campaigning in June. Keith went way down in my estimation that night. Rabid we don’t need.

  11. Fiona Says:

Actually…Vickie…he went way up in my estimation on Friday. I was very moved by what he said and how he compiled all of the lies and deceptions that Mrs. Clinton has spewed throughout this campaign. In no way is there any room for constant references to RFK’s death as a reason to remain in a lost cause. The idea of having a “dream ticket” was beginning to become a fond reality for me. Even though I campaigned on behalf of Mr, Obama, I found myself online asking Clinton supporters to find reasons for unity and for Obama supportors to stop being so negative and down on Mrs. Clinton. On Friday, I was at a loss of words and Keith Olbermann gave me all of the words I needed. How can one say they are staying in any presidential race because something, obviously bad, could happen to their opponent. By what…or whom? We don’t need this at all. I want the superdelegates to come out and endorse Obama right away and end this process. You know what, they are…I read everyday more and more SD’s coming out in favor of Obama and more support pulling away from Clinton on the daily basis and it does my heart and soul good.

Wasn’t Keith a sports reporter just some 5 years ago…. and now he knows everything about America and American politics…. hmmm

  13. Ed Says:

Keith is a partisan biggoited idiot.

  14. Alinde Says:

Thank you so much for posting this! And Amen to Olbermann. He’s the only one I’ve seen who has filled in the blanks by showing her statements after the Time Magazine statements. Anyone who would stoop so low certainly cannot be entrusted the voice of a nation. She’s already shown her inflammatory side vis-a-vis Iran, but now she’s shown her deeply sick soul.

  15. Jeff Says:

I feel the media has not addressed the heart of the problem with Hillary’s comments. First of all, she seems to be caught in an impossible lie when she says she meant nothing other than contests go to June sometimes. Why not just point out that RFK’s 1968 campaign went into June? Why speak of the catastrophic event that ended it? Why not use 1976 and 1984 as better examples?

So here’s the real problem: Hillary 1. acknowledges that she cannot win unless something occurs that counters the plain and simple delegate math, like a catastrophic event taking Obama out of the race altogether, and 2. genuinely wants to win the primary race — that’s clear. So these two together mean that she is indeed saying that she wants an event to occur that takes Obama out of the race.

In other words, by bringing up something catastrophic like the assassination of RFK as a good reason to stay in the race, she is saying, whether it is true or not, that she wants something catastrophic to occur…because she clearly wants to win the race. And this is what was so offensive to people. She has yet to grasp this logic, and to apologize correctly. She grossly lacks the judgment to be the nominee.

  16. CAJones Says:

If she did not mean what was implied – what is a real concern and yes even fear form many – once she understood the incorrect iimplication – why not address, clarify and apoligize. I wonder? Could it be that she truly does not like, care for, respect Obama ? Could she really want him to “Just Go Away” by any means necessary. It is the ultimate disrect – to her opponent, to her supporters, to her courtrymen. I am sorry, I have no problem believing she would not really wish such a travesty on anyone, Even Obama (even if she has said on record that McCain would be a better President…which is a real issue in my opinion). What I can not understand is why she would let such a thoght stand without addressing and if necessary correcting the implication. Could it be she does not care if she can not win?

  17. hb Says:

Really missing how unfairly Hillary has be treated by everyone. Obama is the “baby seal” and the super delegates can’t do their job and put the best candidate in place. Obama needs 8 years to prove himself in DC. Please see: http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/05/25/special-comment-for-keith-olbermann/
