Oops. Hillary Clinton Says Her Speech “Spurred Real Action”

Hillary Clinton’s campaign said today:

The Obama campaign diminishes Hillary’s historic speech in Bejing as meaningless. But her speech at the conference – where she famously declared “women’s rights are human rights” spurred real action.

Now isn’t that the exact opposite of what she said back in Texas?

“Speeches don’t put food on the table. Speeches don’t fill up your tank, or fill your prescription, or do anything about that stack of bills that keeps you up at night…Some people may think words are change. You and I know better. Words are cheap. “

Oh, and the Obama campaign did not say her Beijing speech was “meaningless.”  The Obama campaign stated:

Let there be no doubt: she gave a good speech in Beijing, and she stood up for women’s rights.
