Considering how much grace the American people keep showing the Clintons over the years, it’s sad to see how much they keep stomping all over people.

This is so disconcerting. Just what the Clinton campaign is banking on. Win using the same old politics of “Sin now. Ask for forgiveness later.” Tear apart the voters and the party and wait for the customary “healing” that follows.
Obama for America should take reports like these and incorporate them into its campaign ads. It might bring about some change in the way the Clintons are campaigning.

The arrogance of the Clintons and their willfully blind supporters! Do they think they can just lie with impunity and all will be forgiven and forgotten? I doubt that even the prospect of the worst republican will convince anyone who has bothered to notice the disgusting sh*t they have been pulling. In the process they damaged the democratic party and the social fabric of this country. They knew they would offend and hurt many people — but obviously we were expendable. Winning is all that mattered. Now I think the breach of trust is too great. And frankly, I don’t even see the Clintons or their surrogates trying to repair or apologize. What they really expect is that people will just crumble, fearful of the republican alternative. We are supposed to simply accept that this is the way things are done. Sorry — but there are many people who will not play along. The Clintons have shown themselves unworthy of our respect or surport. Count me as one who will refuse to cast my vote for people who rationalize their racism as just another political tool.

You see, what the Obama NH women should have said was, “We will unify and join you again if you correct your wrong by creating a TV commercial to air in every February 5 state announcing the division that occurred in NH, that you were misled by the Clintons to distort Obama’s record, and that Obama has an absolutely wonderful pro-choice record.”

Fun idea sagereader — but you don’t really think these Clinton supporters are truly sincere in their remorse. I think they like that Hillary is mean and nasty — to them it shows she is a winner — that she can play the game same as the fellas! Sigh… what they may regret is that they have lost some voters — to what extent will determine if there will be any attempt to reconcile. They seem to think Obama and his supporters as suffering from “moral vanity.” That is a new spitball lobbed at me on a TPM thread yesterday for genuinely expressing my distress at what has been going on in this election.

Check out this video on you tube of former Chicago NOW president who switched from clinton to Obama because of the lies in Iowa, and especially new hampshire:

Ms. Hassan is incorrect to say these are just feelings. These were lies and talking together only matters if accountability is part of the process. I agree with sagereader that these people in high places can make amends in just such a way as sage suggests… or lose future support themselves. The truth does matter.
