I watched the speech on CSPAN and she is just lovely, in every sense of the word. Everyone should watch the whole part where she talks about Barack’s background and experience.

I did see her speak, believe it or not, here in London, along with around 200 others. For a minute, I thought maybe someone had filled her in on my life story–taking care of my sick mom, raising two daughters, the conflicts and hopes I feel as a mom and daughter. But she just has that gift, of being able to connect with each person in her audience as if they were the only person there.
A friend of mine told me recently she’d made her choice for president. Fearful it might not be Barack Obama, I asked cautiously who it was. “Michelle Obama,” she said, laughing.
Thanks for posting these videos. For the first time ever, I regret being over here and unable to participate in the election. I will be voting, though, in the Global DA primary, on Feb 5.
