Hooray! This is a terrific speech and I think its getting positive blog feedback-- check Yglesias today. CNN only had a short blurb on the Ticker -- shows where their priorities are. I posted the energy speech in its entirety on their comments section. We'll see if they let it stay. (Curious how their moderation works -- they let vicious and shocking racist remarks accumulate by the hundreds today without censoring.)

By the way, I read on the Obama blog that if you click on the top of the page STATES -- then N.H. -- there is a video excerpt of the speech -- prefaced by Obama mentioning that he had spoken with Gore this morning. Unfortunately, I couldn't get my computer to play it, but perhaps you can post it. I emailed the link to you.

On a related note, I think Friday we should know if Gore has won the Nobel Peace Prize. People are of course speculating that if he does win, he might enter the presidential race. I'm more inclined to think he will endorse Obama -- but its possible he would get into the race if he thought that the Clintons were running away with the nomination and he was convinced he could stop them. Heard him speaking on local NPR this morning. Gore and Obama are very similar in their critques of the media and our political discourse. They would work well together.
