I Don’t Want To Hear Any More Grief About Obama Missing The AARP Debate…

UNTIL there is also some grief and outrage about Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel not being allowed to participate. It’s a double standard. What’s up with that Democratic party? The Democrats are supposed to be the party of inclusion yet you’re not allowing your candidates to debate.

These two candidates actually wanted to be there and weren’t allowed to do so. While the moderator said at the beginning of the debate that Obama declined, I didn’t hear any regrets at the forum about not allowing Kucinich and Gravel to participate. That’s wrong and disrespectful.

How can Democrats say bad things about Republicans when they try to keep Ron Paul’s anti-Iraq War voice out of their debates, when Democrats do the same thing to Kucinich and Gravel?  :(

I can see excluding Mike Gravel or Ron Paul from debates — they are rude and impatient with the top-tier candidates. Though what did Dennis Kucinich do? He is nothing but a gentleman in demeanor and time-limits. He just has different views, less authoritarian views, than the rest of those people. Let Kucinich in!

I don’t find Ron Paul to be rude. I am completely on the opposite side of him on almost every issue, but I actually find him to be quite respectful to the other Republicans when presenting his views. Mike Gravel gets a little excited but I find him to be quite refreshing. Given the state this country is in, somebody out there needs to be mad and raisin’ some sand. I think they all should be allowed into the debates.

I think it was a mistake for Obama not to be at the AARP debate because it’s Iowa.
