U.S. Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) today issued the following statement on the withdrawal of David Palmer to be a member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission:
“Given the serious concerns about Mr. Palmer’s tenure at the Justice Department, his decision to withdraw his nomination was the right thing to do. Every Equal Employment Opportunity Commissioner must have a history of achievement and an unwavering commitment to enforcing anti-discrimination laws in the workplace. The President should appoint a nominee with a clear record of fairness and the judgment necessary to enforce employment laws.”

This makes no sense. David Palmer was clearly shot in the neck and died. That he could still be alive is ludicrous, and that Obama thinks he’s real is…
Wait. Never mind.
Go Obama!

David Palmer, dead or alive, would make a better president than “Al” O’Bamma!
