Some of their recent actions just have me scratching my head. I don’t get it.
They recently sent letters to the major Democratic nominees asking them to reconsider participation in a Presidential debate that would be televised on Fox News. Afro-Netizen has a copy of the actual letter. The candidates had chosen not to participate in the Fox News debate because they felt Fox News was a propaganda outlet rather than a news outlet.
They ask for the candidates’ participation because the debate will focus on issues of importance to minority communities which I’m all for. However Tavis Smiley has a debate coming up soon with the candidates that will also address issues of importance to minority communities.
Skeptical Brotha has a list of 6 CBC members who just voted for the blank check with no accountability bill for Iraq.
I don’t get the CBC these days. I really don’t understand what they are up to.
